## Remote payment

Remote payment enables senders to fund a transaction remotely using a **personal U.S. debit card**.

### High-Level Flow

1. A transaction is created
2. The sender receives a secure payment link via SMS
3. The sender completes payment on their mobile device
4. The transaction undergoes automated and/or manual risk review
5. Upon approval, funds are captured and the transaction proceeds to payout


### Key Characteristics

- Asynchronous funding
- Personal U.S. debit cards only
- Single-use, time-limited payment links
- Transaction amount limits apply
- Risk review may temporarily hold or deny transactions


If funding is denied, any temporary debit card authorization is voided and funds are released back to the sender's account.
